Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. The tool only requires your gender, birth date, general health status, tobacco history, desired benefit amount, and policy term. These six data points are sufficient to receive quotes. Personal details like your name, home address, and medical history are collected only if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These represent the quotes each carrier provides for your chosen health classification. Once underwriting concludes, the carrier establishes the final premium and may adjust your classification up or down. This site makes no insurance offers or price guarantees.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name and the system generates an application from your selected quote, which then transitions to the carriers' platform. The process is stoppable and resumable, with e-signature capability. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), manages the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies by insurer, benefit size, and your profile. Insurers labeled for instant decisions can approve qualified applicants immediately; each quote indicates exam status: required, possibly required, or not required.
Is a longer term better?
Select a duration spanning years when your passing would create financial hardship: outstanding mortgages, dependent children, business debt. Extended terms command higher monthly payments but guarantee stable rates over more years. The quote interface compares 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year windows.
Does this site sell my information?
Never. The tool gathers no contact information, we don't market or share traffic data, and we use cookieless analytics. Review our privacy page for a detailed accounting of what data is gathered and which parties access it.
