No-exam life insurance

Eligibility for fast-track underwriting, the process involved, and what to expect if you don't qualify.

Numerous carriers provide accelerated underwriting: for applicants meeting age and benefit thresholds, carriers evaluate your application, pharmacy history, driving record, and related data, bypassing medical exams. Approvals often arrive within hours. Our quotes note whether each product requires an exam, might need one, or waives it.

What it changes

Accelerated approval doesn't bypass underwriting review. Your statements are checked, and policies issued based on false information have a two-year contestability window. The carrier may still request testing if their records suggest complications; the choice to proceed then remains yours.

Who tends to qualify

Generally, those under approximately 60 requesting coverage within a carrier's accelerated threshold, with no significant medical issues and no tobacco consumption within the past year qualify. Some carriers will substitute recent physician lab work for the medical exam.

Should an exam be required, expect a 20-30 minute visit from a paramedical professional at your Lemoore-area residence or workplace, provided at no charge. For applicants in good health, the exam outcome frequently yields a better rate classification, so it's not necessarily unfavorable.
